When I first started collecting Hermes scarves I had no idea that so many designs pay homage to storied cities, landmarks, explorers, and iconography. With roots in the Big Easy I was delighted to find a New Orleans design tied into the city's most famous jazz musicians. Then I discovered that the designs come in a variety of colors, and that they are often re-issued -- and so it came to pass that at one time I had 18 versions of this Loic Dubigeon design (original issue in 1996, reissue in 2006 in support of Katrina rebuilding of City Park).
