Fishies! Annie Faivre is one of maison Hermes' most beloved designers. Her creations are a riot of detail and color, and she's known for the cheeky little hidden monkeys nestled amid the pattern. This particular creation once commanded up to $1200 in the secondary market although the fervor has died down in recent years. What tickles me about "RO" is it depicts the Pillars of Hercules, and the lost city of Atlantis underneath. (According to mythology the pillars were formed when Hercules smashed through the mountain that was formerly Atlas, thereby connecting the Atlantic with the Mediterranean by creating the Strait of Gibraltar.)
This design was issued only once, with a GM mousseline special edition for the King of Prussia boutique re-opening.
