LILANGA - 2010

George Lilanga was a Tanzanian artist who passed away in 2005.  He was of the Makonde tribe, whose folklore informed the shetani figures of his paintings.  This design was not sold in the US over concerns of racial sensitivities.  Both of these came from Canada.
